It is our commitment to improving the built environment in the east of England which is at the forefront of our support for the Eastern Powerhouse and we have a desire to see better road and rail infrastructure to enhance connectivity and spread growth, higher quality and affordable housing to meet the demands of our residents, to build on the success of Cambridge as a life science cluster to open up other clustering opportunities elsewhere in the region and working with the government on their net zero carbon ambitions and achieving a sustainable renewable energy platform, which the east of England has the resources to significantly contribute towards. This agenda aligns closely with the ambitions of the Eastern Powerhouse and together we can have a stronger voice with which to deliver on these goals.
